At Anna’s School Of Music we teach
Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums,
Piano and Singing. Our aim is to get you
playing/singing and well on the way to achieving your music
dreams in YOUR own time. We never push or make our students
do anything they don’t feel comfortable doing, we
encourage and support our students and understand that everyone
has individual needs. We are here to nurture talent, whether
it be young our mature age, we can help. Our lessons are
structured to suit each individuals needs.
If you want to do music grades, our qualified
teachers will help you to achieve the level you wish to
achieve by teaching you the AMEB [Australian Music Education
Board] Syllabus. You will be supported every step of the
way!
Each of our Guitar / Drum
rooms is generous size with a full drum kit and quality
amps.
Our Piano rooms are equipped with quality
digital pianos.
Singing lesson rooms are equipped with
quality CD players a microphone and amp and a large selection
of quality backing tracks and lyrics. Singing students are
taught right from the beginning how to use a microphone
and basic performance knowledge. Performance technique is
built on as the student develops and learns. It’s
our aim to produce confident singers who practice good vocal
and performance habits.
At times students actually have their lesson
take place in the concert hall on the stage with the lighting
and sound to help give them confidence for a performance.
This has been a very popular and successful form of helping
students over come stage fright.
Most importantly all of our teachers like
to make your lesson FUN!
All of our lesson rooms have windows so
parents can see their children at all times. If parents
wish to sit in on lessons, that is encouraged also.
All of our staff/teachers have been approved
to work with children.
Our teachers are very friendly and are
approachable for a quick chat at any time between lessons.
We encourage all of our students to take
part in our regular concert nights. Some students are introduced
to other students and work together on a music piece to
perform at a concert night. Not only is it about learning
an instrument, it’s about learning to play with other
musicians and making friends with a common interest.
HSC students come together and work on
their exam pieces with the help of our teachers. At times
students who may be working together on exam pieces will
share lessons to have extra time to work on their music.
We are able to cater for a varied range of requirements.
Anna’s remains open during school
holidays at the request of our more serious students, but
attendance is optional.
Anna’s School Of Music is very much
a performance based school.
We hold regular concern nights in our concert
hall for our students to showcase what they have learnt
for their family and friends.
These concert nights have become a huge
success with concerts now being sold out events!
Concert nights are professional nights
with full lighting, quality sound equipment and a qualified,
experienced sound engineer on hand to teach the students
as he works to help make the night a success.
Guests from as far away as Sydney have
heard about our concert nights and have made the trip to
witness for themselves the talent at Anna’s School
Of Music!
